The Open Range Record announces the candidates appearing at the High Plains Republican Primary Debate July 16th at the Rialto Theater in Casper.

High Plains Primary Debates Debators

ANNOUNCEMENT

The debate is set for July 16^th. The Open Range Record is happy to announce the candidates for the High Plains Republican Primary Debate July 16, 2026.

The candidates for the congressional debate are (In alphabetical order):

· Frank Chapman

· Kevin Christensen

· Steve Friess

· David Giralt

· Chuck Gray

Gubernatorial candidates for the night’s second debate are:

· Brent Bien

· Megan Degenfelder

The evening will begin with brief introductions of the event’s sponsors at 5:30 with the first debate to follow. There will be a brief intermission to set up for the second debate and for the audience to get refreshments.

It is being held at the historic Rialto Theater in downtown Casper, Wyoming. A cash bar will be available as well as other refreshments.
