Dear Editor,

Recently, Karlee Provenza wrote an article expressing her concern for the safety of private and home schooled students.  What Rep. Provenza is really concerned about is that there are students not under the thumb of the WEA and the state school system. One of her lines is: “Wyoming has a moral obligation to protect 'our' home school children.”

Sorry, Karlee, those children do not belong to you or to the legal fiction, known as the State of Wyoming. Those children belong to their family and God.

There was a protest march where students from East High School and South High School left school and marched to the Capitol to protest ICE. There to greet them were Rep. Provenza and Sen Rothfuss.  These two bill themselves as the stalwarts of the state school system. If that is really so, don't you think they would have told the students to go back to class and do their homework?  They didn't because they use the school system to recruit activists to further their political agenda in the future.  They are not concerned about the serious and academic students.

Do you notice that trade schools, private schools and home schools don't waste their time on protests. Only government schools allow it. At 20,000 bucks per student, are you getting your money's worth?

In 2025, 30 Americans died needlessly last year due to foreign truck drivers who can't read English. Sheriff Kozak is taking them off the highways in Laramie County and making it safer for all of us. The Albany County Sheriff won't take foreign truckers off the road in Albany County, and now HWY 287, a 2-lane highway is full of semi-trucks going to Denver because they can avoid Laramie County using this route.

Karlee Provenza protects, defends and encourages these foreign drivers who can't read English, making the highways more dangerous and encourages vulnerable students to do the same. So, if you like going to Fort Collins, be on your guard as there are many more foreign truck drivers taking that route, thanks to the Albany County Sheriff.

Rep Provenza needs to concentrate her energies on the government school system, where she has a captive audience.
