MIDWEST, WY — Representative Bill Allemand announced Thursday that he will seek a third term representing House District 58 in the Wyoming House of Representatives. House District 58 includes Edgerton, Midwest, Homa Hills, Bar Nunn, North Casper, and Vista West.
“It has been the greatest honor of my life to represent and serve the people of House District 58,” Allemand said. “I look forward to the opportunity to continue fighting for our communities and our Wyoming values for another two years.”
Since taking office in 2023, Allemand has built a conservative legislative record focused on lowering property taxes, defending constitutional rights, protecting children and families, supporting Wyoming energy and agriculture, expanding educational freedom, and resisting federal overreach.
During his first two terms, at least a dozen bills Allemand sponsored or co-sponsored were signed into Wyoming law. Allemand pointed to his advocacy during the controversy surrounding a proposed nuclear-related manufacturing project near Bar Nunn as an example of representing constituent concerns, even when doing so was politically difficult.
“I am personally pro-nuclear,” Allemand said. “But many residents living near the proposed site had concerns about nuclear waste being stored close to their homes. My responsibility is to represent the people of this district and ensure their voices are heard.”
Allemand currently serves on the House Appropriations Committee, which helps prepare Wyoming’s state budget. He also serves on the House Rules Committee. Reflecting on his legislative record, Allemand highlighted his support for pro-life legislation, Second Amendment protections, parental rights, and measures aimed at giving local residents a stronger voice in decisions affecting their communities.
“I have a 100% lifetime rating with CPAC, and my record speaks for itself,” Allemand said. “I will continue fighting to protect the constitutional rights of my constituents and to help Wyoming families keep more of their hard-earned money.”
